HASKOLI ISLANDS (Project Leader) located in Reykjavík (IS), in collaboration with other prominent partners across Europe, gladly announces the approval of the Erasmus+ Programme (March 2022) for the European Project – KA2 Cooperation Partnerships in School Education, titled “stAI – Act before it happens: Preventing and fighting Early Leaving from Education and Training with Artificial Intelligence”.

The stAI Partnership comprises six different organizations from Iceland, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Portugal, and Cyprus, dedicated to addressing Early Leaving from Education and Training (ELET) through innovative AI solutions.

stAI Project Overview:

The stAI Project, funded in the field of School Education, is dedicated to leveraging Artificial Intelligence to prevent and combat Early Leaving from Education and Training. The project aims to provide innovative solutions, enhance decision support, and advocate for policy changes to create a more resilient education system.

Project partners are committed to contributing significantly to reducing early leavers by implementing a multifaceted approach, representing a collaborative effort to harness AI’s potential for a more inclusive and effective education system.

Project Expected Results:

  • Creation of an AI prompt-system prototype with video tutorials in multiple languages.
  • Recommendations for policymakers are presented in English and seven other languages.
  • Transnational Map of risk factors and recommendations.
  • Compendium of case studies on knowledge-driven AI systems in education.
  • Technical design and implementation of an AI prompt-system prototype + usability kit.
  • Creation of stakeholders’ ecosystems.
