BADANTES – Promoting Excellence Among Romanian Caregivers Through Vocational Education and Training (VET)
ASSOC (Asociatia Profesionala Neguvernamentala de Asistenta Sociale) in collaboration with other prominent partners across Europe, gladly announces the approval of the Erasmus+ Programme for the European Project – “BADANTES- Promoting Excellence Among Romanian Caregivers Through Vocational Education and Training (VET)” that will start on November 1, 2025 and end on October 31, 2027. The BADANTES Partnership comprises five different organizations from Romania, Italy and Spain.

BADANTES Project Overview:
The BADANTES Project, funded in the field of Vocational Education and Training, is dedicated to support Romanian caregivers in their new host country through different interventions. The project aims to raise awareness, foster the professional integration of caregivers in other EU countries, strengthen skills and increase the capacity of the VET sector to support the integration process. Project partners are committed to contributing significantly to addresses INCLUSION & DIVERSITY to foster the social, educational and professional inclusion of Romanian caregivers providing homecare services for seniors. Through sensitization activities of VET providers and the general public about the problems faced by RO caregivers, the partners determine to break obstacles preventing Romanians to be integrated in their new hosting community.
Project results:
- Raised awareness about the difficulties faced by Romanian caregivers when moving to another country.
- Enhanced social, civic and professional integration in the hosting society.
- Availability of a training course for Romanian caregivers containing: legal rights in the hosting country, psychological support recommendations, practical/ technical part on how to offer high-quality homecare services to seniors.
- Increased capacities of VET providers to answer the labour market and society needs.
