BADANTES Project Kick-off Meeting in Baia Mare
On March 23 and 24, 2026, partners from across Europe met in Baia Mare, Romania for the official kick-off meeting of BADANTES, an Erasmus+ project coordinated by Asociatia Profesionala Neguvernamentala de Asistenta Sociala (ASSOC).
The meeting marked the start of our two-year collaboration with a clear goal: to raise awareness and foster the professional integration of Romanian caregivers in EU countries and increase the capacity of the VET sector to support the integration process.
During the meeting, the consortium established a shared understanding of the project’s objectives, expected impact, and overall structure across the four work packages:
• WP1: Project Management
• WP2: Awareness-raising and civic engagement activities
• WP3: Creation of the training contents and piloting
• WP4: Dissemination, impact and sustainability
A central focus of the meeting was Work Package 2- Awareness-raising and civic engagement activities, led by CRES Centro di Ricerche e Studi Europei- future business. Partners reviewed together insights from the interviews done with Romanian caregivers and the state of the art from the desk research in Italy, Spain, and Romania. Moreover, partners discussed and organized together the booklet formation, the awareness raising campaign and the transnational online event to be conducted in the next months.

Face-to-face partner meetings provide a strong foundation for every project. Partners will now proceed with the finalisation of the booklet and the preparations for the awareness raising campaign and trainings with quality and motivation.
