E-CRAFTS project – First Transnational Project Meeting in Castellón
The e-CRAFTS project responds to a pressing need: reducing the social and economic exclusion of women in vulnerable situations by empowering them with digital skills and entrepreneurial competences in the craft sector.
Although digital commerce is rapidly expanding, many talented women artisans still face major barriers to accessing the market. These include:
limited training in digital tools and online sales, lack of structured support and mentoring, and economic constraints that make it difficult to promote and sell their products effectively.
📍 Last week, the project partners met in Castellón for the first Transnational Project Meeting (TPM). This important milestone marked the official start of our collaboration and provided an opportunity to:
– align on project objectives and implementation strategies,
– clarify roles and responsibilities,
– discuss upcoming activities related to training, digital platforms, and support mechanisms for women artisans,
– strengthen cooperation between partner organizations.
